The Beavers had an adventure hike in Primrose Wood in September 2018. It was all about teamwork - building dens and helping each other up the hill on the last leg!

 

Well done to this lovely bunch of young Scout and co-opted Scout(!) fundraisers, who manned stalls at Scoutfest to raise money for Tarporley War Memorial Hospital.

Pictured handing over the proceeds are: Tom Read, Sebastian Winder, William Line, Rose Owen, Jake Cheers and Martha Read, with Group Scout Leader Nick Oates and nurses from the Hospital. Many others also helped out raising money on the day.

A team of 6 Cubs from Portal Pack, Sebastian, Magnus, Freddie, Tom, George and Eli took part in this year's Chester District Craft Competition. Over 2 hours the team had to make a model of a pirate ship, design a poster advertising the Chamboree camp being held this year and design t shirts to wear at the camp with a pirate theme. Marks were awarded for team working, behaviour, tidiness and the work that was produced.

As Winners, the Cubs now go on to represent the District at the County Final.

Well done Cubs!

Cubs from Portal Pack visited the Mid Cheshire Foodbank at Winsford to deliver their collection of items to help needy families over the Christmas period. They learned about what happens once the items are donated. They recieved a Certificate to mark their efforts.
